Part D: Shafts and Sunk Keys Shaft (two required) New Part → sketch a circle ⌀30 → Extrude Blind 90 mm. (65 mm sits inside the coupling; the rest projects for the drawing.) Keyway: sketch on the Top Plane (or on a plane tangent to the shaft) a rectangle 8 mm wide × 36 mm long, then Extruded Cut 4.0 mm deep measured from the cylindrical surface. Add a 1 mm × 45° chamfer at the free end. Save as: Shaft_30.sldprt (use the same part for both shafts) Sunk parallel key (two required) New Part → sketch a rectangle 8 × 7 mm → Extrude 36 mm. Add a 0.5 mm chamfer or R0.5 fillet on the long edges.
