Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of TextoCAD at textocad.com. By using the platform, you agree to these terms.

Using the service

TextoCAD lets you generate, edit, and export CAD models from plain English prompts. Your first 2 generations are free after you sign in, and editing plus export stay free. After that you can keep generating with your own AI provider API key, or through the TextoCAD connector in an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT. TextoCAD does not sell subscriptions.

Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, infringe the rights of others, or attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the platform. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

Your content and models

You retain rights to the prompts you write and the CAD models you generate, subject to these terms. You are responsible for verifying that any generated model is fit for your intended use before manufacturing, printing, or relying on it.

No warranty

The service is provided on an as is basis. AI generated models may contain errors, so you should review dimensions, tolerances, and geometry before using them for production or engineering decisions.

Your own API keys

If you save an API key from an AI provider, TextoCAD uses it only to run generations you request, and the provider bills you directly under its own terms. You are responsible for that key and its spending limits, and you can delete it from TextoCAD at any time. See the connect page for how keys are protected.

Connector

The TextoCAD connector lets an AI assistant you choose act on your TextoCAD account after you sign in and approve it. You can revoke that access from your account at any time.

Earlier subscriptions

Subscriptions bought before TextoCAD stopped selling them keep the generations already added to your account and can be cancelled from the Usage page. Nothing new is charged once a subscription is cancelled.
