TextoCAD is built on open-source CAD software. This page lists it, its licences, and where to get its source code.
Source code offer for OpenSCAD
The 3D Printing engine that runs in your browser is the official OpenSCAD WebAssembly build, version 2025.03.25.wasm24456, distributed unmodified under the GNU General Public License version 2 or later. Its complete corresponding source code is available from the OpenSCAD project at github.com/openscad/openscad (the WebAssembly build is produced from that repository with its documented Emscripten build), and the exact build we serve was downloaded from files.openscad.org/playground.
For at least three years from the last time we serve this build, anyone may also ask us for a copy of that source code on a physical medium or by download, for no more than the cost of providing it. Write to us through the contact page and mention "OpenSCAD source request".
OpenSCAD runs as a separate program in your browser. TextoCAD sends it a script and reads back the result; TextoCAD's own code is not part of OpenSCAD and is not covered by its licence.
