1. Copper Base Create a rectangular copper base 84 × 84 mm. Use C110 ETP copper. Finished overall base thickness is 5.70 mm. The bottom floor thickness below the channels is 2.50 mm. Therefore, the liquid channels are 3.20 mm deep. The entire 20 × 20 mm fin field and surrounding sealing land must share the same top plane at Z = 5.70 mm. 2. Central Flow Cavity On the top of the copper base, create a central cavity envelope 20 × 40 mm. It consists of: inlet plenum: 20 × 10 × 3.20 mm fin field: 20 × 20 × 3.20 mm outlet plenum: 20 × 10 × 3.20 mm The cavity is centered on the copper base. 3. Fin/Channel Field In the central 20 × 20 mm fin field, create 12 parallel channels. Channel width = 0.80 mm. Fin thickness = 0.80 mm. Channel depth = 3.20 mm. Channel length = 20.00 mm. Arrange the channels and fins symmetrically so the 20 mm field is filled exactly: 12 channels × 0.80 mm 13 fins/edge regions × 0.80 mm total = 20.00 mm Channel bottoms remain 2.50 mm above the bottom face. Add approximately 0.40 mm radius at the channel ends. Internal plenum corners should have radius ≥1.60 mm. 4. O-Ring Groove Cut a circular face-seal groove into the copper land surrounding the cavity. Groove ID = 48.5 mm. Groove OD = 62.5 mm. Groove width = 7.00 mm. Groove depth = 3.50 mm. Keep 2.20 mm of copper below the groove. The groove is concentric with the part center. 5. Copper Bolt Holes Create 10 blind tapped holes for M3 × 0.5 screws. Locate them on a 74 mm bolt circle. Tap depth = 4.5 mm into the copper. Hole pattern must not break through the bottom face.
