The prompt
Create a dimensionally accurate, fully 3D-printable removable cord spool for a wearable Spider-Man-inspired wrist prop. CORD: - Cord length: 5 metres (5000 mm) - Cord diameter: 1.5 mm - Cord material: braided UHMWPE / Dyneema-type cord - The cord is for controlled, stationary bench-top testing and controlled retraction only. - Do not design the spool as a projectile launcher or as a device for pulling people. SPOOL: - Outer spool diameter: 35 mm - Spool width: 15 mm - Central axle hole: 5 mm diameter - Add two circular side flanges to keep the cord contained. - Add a smooth rounded cord-retaining channel around the spool. - Add a small cord-anchor hole or slot for securing the beginning of the cord. - Make all edges that contact the cord smooth and rounded. - Make the spool removable from the wrist enclosure. FIT: - Allow sufficient clearance between the spool and its housing for free rotation. - Design the spool to accommodate the entire 5 m × 1.5 mm cord. - Do not assume the 35 mm × 15 mm spool has sufficient capacity; calculate the required winding capacity and increase the spool width or diameter if necessary. - Keep the final spool compact enough for a wearable wrist enclosure. AXLE: - Include a 5 mm central axle interface. - Keep the spool aligned centrally during rotation. - Include suitable clearance between the rotating spool and stationary axle/housing. 3D PRINTING: - Make the spool suitable for FDM 3D printing. - Avoid unnecessary supports. - Use rounded edges and sufficiently thick walls. - Make the spool a single printable part. - Make all dimensions parametric and editable. - Provide dimensions in millimetres. - Exportable as STL and, if supported, editable STEP/parametric CAD. IMPORTANT: The cord and spool are not intended to support a person's body weight or to launch the cord. The 8 kg requirement applies only to a separate, stationary bench-top cord test, not to the wearable device or its trigger mechanism.
