BANKNOTE DIMENSIONS A US $100 banknote measures approximately: • Length: 160 mm • Width: 100 mm The banknote must fit inside the box flat, without folding. MAIN BODY Create a rectangular open-top container with: • External length: 162 mm • External width: 100 mm • Total external height: 22 mm • Wall thickness: 2 mm • Bottom thickness: 2 mm • Internal clear dimensions: approximately 160 × 100 mm • Internal usable depth: approximately 22 mm The internal dimensions must provide a small clearance around the banknote so that it can be inserted and removed easily. MAGNET POCKETS Add exactly 8 cylindrical recessed pockets for round neodymium magnets. Magnet dimensions: • Diameter: 10 mm • Thickness: 3 mm Make each magnet pocket: • Diameter: 10.2 mm • Depth: 3.2 mm The pockets must be blind holes, NOT through-holes. Place 8 magnet pockets symmetrically: • 4 near the four corners • 2 additional pockets along one long side • 2 additional pockets at matching positions along the opposite long side The magnet pockets must be positioned inside reinforced areas of the walls so they do not reduce the usable internal storage space. LID Create a separate removable lid for the container. The lid should: • Cover the entire opening • Be approximately 2 mm thick • Fit securely into/on the main body • Have a small clearance suitable for FDM 3D printing • Use the same 8-magnet layout as the main body • Include 8 matching cylindrical magnet pockets for 10 × 3 mm magnets The lid magnets must align exactly with the 8 magnets in the main body. 3D PRINTING REQUIREMENTS The model must be optimized for FDM 3D printing: • No unnecessary supports • Flat bottom • Printable on a Bambu Lab A1 • Avoid extremely thin unsupported features • Use 1 mm radius external edge fillets where appropriate • Keep all functional dimensions precise OUTPUT Create two separate parametric solid bodies: 1. Main container 2. Magnetic lid The geometry must be suitable for export to: • STEP • STL Do not add decorative elements, text, logos, or unnecessary details. Prioritize dimensional accuracy and functional fit over visual appearance.
