The prompt
Step 1: Create the 3D Positioning Stop Model (F3D) Sketch the Profile: Start a new sketch. Always anchor your first point or corner to the Origin (0,0,0). Roughly draw the 2D profile of the part (don't worry about exact lengths yet). Apply Geometric Constraints: Apply geometric constraints (Horizontal/Vertical, Equal, etc) to lock in how the lines relate to each other. Dimension the Sketch: Add the specific linear and angular dimensions provided in the textbook. Extrude into a 3D Solid: Use the Extrude command to transform your fully defined 2D sketch into a 3D solid model. Save your Work: Save your file using the exact format: LastName_FirstName_Ch2_Positioning Stop. (Fusion will automatically save this with an .F3D extension). Step 2: Generate the Orthographic Drawing with Isometric View (PDF) Upon completing your 3D model, convert it into a formal 2D engineering drawing for submission per the guidelines provided in chapter 8 of the textbook: Navigate to Design ➔ Drawing ➔ From Design. In the CREATE DRAWING dialog box, use these exact settings: Drawing Type: Automatic Base Document: From Scratch Standard: ASME Units: Inches Orientation: Landscape Sheet Size: B Click OK. Add a Base View (front view) Create Projected Views (top and right side views, plus isometric view in upper right corner) Adjust the View Scale Reposition Views Add and adjust Center Marks Add and adjust Centerline bisectors Dimension the Drawing: Go to DIMENSIONS ➔ Auto Dimension
