PROJECT: Modern Research Labs (MRL) Elite Vault Design a premium laboratory storage and transport case for four standard 3 mL research vials. This is not a generic storage box. The goal is to create a premium laboratory product that feels engineered, durable, and modular. The case should resemble professional scientific equipment with clean industrial styling. The design will become the foundation for an entire family of MRL products. Primary goals: • Premium appearance • Excellent protection during transport • Modular construction • Easy assembly • Easy manufacturing on a Bambu Lab printer • Designed for PETG or PETG-CF • TPU removable inserts • Heat-set brass inserts • Stainless hardware • Magnetic closure • Parametric CAD Vial Specifications Capacity: 4 vials Layout: 2 × 2 Orientation: Standing upright Vial body diameter: 16 mm Overall vial height: 45 mm Design Requirements Overall exterior dimensions approximately: 120 mm long 80 mm wide 55 mm tall Wall thickness: 3 mm Corner radius: 5 mm Exterior Modern industrial styling Large chamfers Smooth fillets Recessed logo area for Modern Research Labs No decorative textures Clean engineering appearance Interior Removable TPU insert TPU insert is not generated yet. Only create the cavity for it. Leave 0.3 mm clearance for insert installation. Future Features (reserve space only) Rear hinge Front magnetic latch 8 × 3 mm N52 magnets M3 brass heat-set inserts 3 mm stainless hinge pin Manufacturing PETG printable No supports Large internal fillets Uniform wall thickness Parametric CAD model Output ONLY the bottom shell of the case.
