Leather Belt Strap with Velcro and Buckle

The belt strap is one-inch wide leather, cut with a rounded tip and a straight end. A four-inch Velcro loop goes on the back of the straight end, and a four-inch Velcro hook is placed on the front of the strap, starting about two inches from the straight end. The decorative buckle plate, which is about one-and-a-half by one inch, attaches to the front of the straight end. Also, include a one-inch wide leather keeper loop, about one-and-a-quarter inches long, to slide on the strap behind the buckle. For materials, you’ll need vegetable-tanned leather, one-inch wide, about three to four ounces thick, and cut to length. You’ll also need one-and-a-half inch wide sew-on Velcro, both hook and loop, four inches of each per belt, and a decorative metal or plastic buckle plate.
