The prompt

Design a 3D-printable, book-style laptop stand case in OpenSCAD, from scratch. Work in stages (shell, then hinge, then tracks/slats) and check in after each stage before continuing. BASE: bottom shell laptop sits on. Rigid walls/floor sized for laptop weight (assume 1.2–2.5kg). Rounded corners (soft, book-like radius, not a small electronics chamfer). Houses track channels and hinge (base side). COVER: front cover, closes flat over base, folds fully open book-style. Flush fit with base when closed. Matching rounded corners. Add a simple closure (magnetic or friction catch). HINGE: runs along the spine. Must open flat/past-flat like a book (not a ~130–150° laptop clamshell hinge). Propose a printable rod-and-barrel or print-only hinge, your choice, but size it to carry the full open weight (base+laptop) without racking. Avoid a segmented/castellated look along the spine. SPINE: the structural/visual edge joining base and cover, where the hinge lives. Should read as a distinct raised/wider strip, like a hardcover book spine, not just a thin hinge line. TRACKS: channels in the base the slats slide/lock into, giving adjustable laptop angle. Specify a locking mechanism (pin-notch, detent, friction) — not just a decorative groove. Propose position count/spacing. SLATS: fold out from base, engage tracks, prop up and stabilize the laptop — this is load-bearing, must not flex/slip/pivot under load. Collapse flat against base when closed. Specify count, length, thickness, pivot design, and whether one slat geometry works across all track positions. Ask me before assuming: laptop size/footprint to fit, and print constraints (FDM, PLA/PETG, build volume). Before calling any stage done, verify the actual exported STL (not just source/render): containment tests, cross-sections through bores/tracks/hinge, boolean intersection between mating parts (report overlap mm³), manifold/watertight check. Report the actual numbers.
