The prompt
Create 2D dimensioned technical drawings (CAD/DXF) for a wood-framed window, French casement style ("fenêtre à la française"), inward-opening, for a garage. Two identical windows. Wood frame (softwood, e.g. Douglas fir), assembled with biscuit joints. VIEWS NEEDED: 1. Front elevation of the window (frame + sash + glass), fully dimensioned. 2. Vertical cross-section at the HEAD (top) of the frame, showing the head flashing ("bavette de tête") that caps the junction and overhangs beyond the future exterior cladding face. 3. Vertical cross-section at the SILL (bottom) of the frame, showing the sloped sill nose ("nez d'appui") with a drip groove ("goutte d'eau") underneath and a small upstand ("rejingot") where the sash closes against it. 4. Horizontal cross-section through the glazing rebate ("feuillure"), showing the double-glazed unit sitting in the rebate with the glazing bead ("parclose") holding it in place. EXACT DIMENSIONS (all in mm, already calculated and verified — use these exactly, do not recalculate or estimate): - Glass pane (per window): 733 x 733, double glazed insulated unit, 20.40 total thickness - Frame member section (both fixed frame and sash): 58 (depth) x 68 (face width) - Glazing rebate width (accommodates glass thickness): 28 - Peripheral clearance around glass edge in rebate: 6 - Sash ("ouvrant") overall outer dimension: 875 x 875 - Fixed frame ("dormant") overall outer dimension: 905 x 905 - Overlap between sash and fixed frame at closure: 15 - Minimum rough opening required in the wall: 935 x 935 - Reserve depth for future exterior cladding + ventilated air gap (not yet built): 45, with the head flashing and sill nose projecting a further 20 beyond that future cladding face (so roughly 65 total beyond the current wall face) Please label every dimension clearly on the drawings and export as DXF if possible so it can be opened in standard CAD software for verification.
