The prompt

Folded docking configuration In one principal embodiment, when temples (50) are folded across the rear of lenses (L) and the assembly is placed front-down on surface (S), three contact regions support the frame: brow bar (11) (optionally via keel (24)) at the front, and the two support loops (60) at the rear. Loop standoff (61), loop longitudinal position (63) relative to the fold point, and brow-bar geometry are mutually dimensioned such that: (a) the support triangle (T) has a rear base width of at least 50 mm (preferred ≥ 55 mm); (b) the folded center of mass (CM) lies within triangle (T) with a margin of at least 5 mm (preferred ≥ 8 mm) from every edge; and (c) the lowermost lens edges are suspended at a clearance (C) of at least 2 mm (preferred ≥ 3 mm) above surface (S). In this configuration the optical surfaces cannot contact the resting surface, protecting coatings and prescriptions without a case.
