The prompt
Project: Preliminary 3D CAD Concept — Double-Wall Anesthesia Face Mask for Waste Anesthetic Gas Capture Create a conceptual 3D engineering model of a full-face anesthesia mask covering the nose and mouth. The purpose is to investigate capture of volatile anesthetic gases leaking around the mask perimeter in operating rooms and intensive care units. Design concept 1. An inner flexible mask body with a continuous patient-contact sealing lip. 2. A separate outer shell surrounding the inner mask perimeter. 3. A peripheral collection cavity between the inner and outer walls. Use a nominal 2 mm gap as a provisional design parameter, not a validated dimension. 4. A small number of collection ports located on the outer wall of the cavity, away from the patient's skin-contact surface. 5. Connect the collection cavity to a separate gas-capture tube and clearly label its outlet as “TO GAS SCAVENGING SYSTEM.” 6. Show the normal breathing-gas connector as a separate component. Do not connect the collection cavity directly to the patient breathing pathway. 7. Keep the inner patient seal continuous and visually distinct from the gas collection cavity. 8. Model the inner body, outer shell, collection cavity, ports, and tubing as separate identifiable components. Required views - Front view - Side view - Isometric view - Section view through the peripheral seal - Enlarged detail of the collection cavity and extraction port Dimensions Do not invent the overall mask dimensions or claim that the design fits a patient. Use adjustable parameters for overall width, height, depth, wall thickness, cavity gap, port diameter, and tube diameter. Mark unmeasured dimensions as “TBD — measure from reference mask.” Use millimetres. Engineering annotations Label the inner breathing boundary, patient sealing lip, outer wall, collection cavity, extraction ports, scavenging tube, and breathing connector. Important limitations This is a non-clinical concept model only. Do not claim that the model is safe, effective, manufacturable, or clinically validated. Do not simulate clinical performance without suitable boundary conditions and validation data. The model must not obstruct breathing, increase rebreathing, or compromise the patient seal. Generate the 3D geometry and a dimensioned engineering drawing if supported. If automatic geometry generation is unavailable, provide a step-by-step CAD construction plan.
