The prompt

Create a rectangular decorative wooden panel intended to serve as the inset lid panel of a fine wooden box. The panel should be 200 mm wide, 150 mm deep, and 8 mm thick. The top surface should feature an ornate carved bas-relief inspired by traditional Victorian and classical scrollwork and by intricate scroll-sawn fretwork patterns. Do NOT create through-holes or pierced fretwork. The panel must remain completely solid. Create a highly detailed, symmetrical ornamental relief consisting of flowing acanthus leaves, C-scrolls, S-scrolls, curling vines, stylized foliage, teardrop forms, and small floral elements. Arrange the ornament around a prominent central motif, with scrolling foliage flowing outward toward the corners and edges. The overall composition should be bilaterally symmetrical about the vertical centerline and have the dense, interconnected appearance of traditional decorative fretwork. Translate the appearance of pierced fretwork into three-dimensional carved relief: areas that would normally be solid scrollwork should become raised ornamental forms, while the spaces between the scrollwork should become recessed background areas rather than holes. Keep a flat perimeter border approximately 12 mm wide around the entire panel. The decorative relief should terminate cleanly inside this border. The recessed background should be approximately 2.5 mm below the original top surface. The ornamental scrollwork should rise smoothly from the recessed background to the original top surface, producing approximately 2.5 mm of total relief depth. Give the ornamental forms sculpted three-dimensional contours rather than simple vertical extrusions. Leaves should have gently crowned surfaces, tapered edges, subtle center ridges, and smoothly varying heights. Scrolls and vines should have rounded or softly beveled profiles. Blend transitions smoothly into the recessed background. Avoid undercuts. All geometry must be machinable from directly above using a 3-axis CNC router. Avoid extremely narrow details, vertical cliffs, and tiny features. Design the relief for practical CNC machining in hardwood using a small ball-nose end mill for finishing. The finished model should be one continuous solid panel with a flat bottom, flat perimeter border, recessed carved background, and raised sculptural ornamental relief. It should resemble a hand-carved decorative wooden box lid rather than a perforated grille, engraving, or simple embossed pattern.
