The prompt
Create two separate, editable, parametric 3D models of low-profile cheek-rest pads for a replica stock. REFERENCE IMAGES Use the attached photographs as the primary visual reference. The stock shown at the bottom of the reference photo is the exact stock being used. Use the JMAC Skeleton Stock reference for general appearance only. Do not redesign or reproduce the entire stock. Create only the two cheek-rest pads. VERSION A — LOWER PAD Vertical height added above the stock: 7.1 mm (approximately 9/32 inch). Make the height adjustable between 6.35 mm and 7.94 mm. Keep the overall shape and footprint adjustable. VERSION B — TALLER PAD Vertical height added above the stock: 12.7 mm (1/2 inch). Use the same overall outline and footprint as Version A. SHAPE AND APPEARANCE Create a smooth, comfortable cheek-contact surface. Use gently rounded edges and corners. Make the top surface slightly contoured rather than having sharp edges. Keep both versions identical in length and width. Follow the proportions and appearance of the attached reference photos. Keep the underside simple and unobstructed. IMPORTANT EXCLUSIONS Do not include screw holes, threaded holes, screws, or other fastening hardware. Do not create a mounting or locking mechanism. Do not modify the original stock. Do not guess dimensions that cannot be determined from the reference images. 3D MODEL REQUIREMENTS Use millimeters throughout. Make both models separate, editable solid bodies. Make the models watertight. Avoid unnecessarily thin walls and fragile decorative features. Keep the geometry suitable for FDM 3D printing. Provide a separate STL export for each version. Also preserve editable CAD geometry. Before considering the models finished, identify any missing measurements needed to verify the dimensions and fit of the cheek pads.
Parameters
| Name | Value | Range |
|---|---|---|
| Length along the stock comb | 150 mm | 80 – 220 |
| Width across the stock comb | 38 mm | 22 – 70 |
| Plan-view corner radius | 8 mm | 2 – 18 |
| Height above stock at crown centre | 7.1 mm | 6.35 – 7.94 |
| Height above stock at crown centre | 12.7 mm | 6.35 – 20 |
| Crown fall from centre to side edge | 1.2 mm | 0.2 – 3 |
| Crown fall from centre to each end | 1.5 mm | 0.2 – 4 |
| Exploded spacing between the two pads | 30 mm | 5 – 120 |
Every value above is a live dimension. Open a model like this in the editor and each one becomes a slider you can drag before exporting.
