The prompt
Design a compact robotic tomato-harvesting end effector for an industrial robot arm. It is designed for truss tomatoes: two mechanical jaws grip the green stem, then a guillotine-style blade cuts the stem. The entire mechanism must be powered by ONE electric motor. Use a compact worm gear, cam, lead screw, gears, and mechanical linkages to synchronize the sequence: 1. Stem enters the front opening. 2. Two jaws close and securely grip the green stem. 3. Guillotine blade moves across/down and cuts the stem. 4. Blade retracts and jaws open to release the tomato cluster. Show a realistic, manufacturable industrial design with: - Single rear-mounted servo/geared motor - Worm gear / reduction mechanism - Lead screw or cam mechanism - Mechanical linkages - Two opposing gripping jaws - Guillotine cutting blade - Bearings, shafts, guide rails and screws - CNC-machined aluminum housing - Stainless steel shafts and hardened steel blade - Robot-arm mounting flange Create exterior, side, front, top, semi-transparent cutaway, and exploded assembly views. Clearly show the complete internal mechanism and how ONE motor controls both gripping and cutting. The design must be mechanically realistic, manufacturable, compact, and suitable for conversion into a parametric CAD assembly and individual STL parts.
