Step 1a — Outer block "Create a rectangular block, 260mm long x 140mm wide x 150mm tall, with 8mm rounded edges on all vertical corners." Step 1b — Hollow it out "Shell the block with a 5mm wall thickness, leaving the top face open." Step 1c — Tiffin compartment cavity "On the top face, cut a rectangular pocket for the tiffin compartment, 110mm long x 130mm wide x 120mm deep,positioned on the left side, leaving a 5mm wall on all sides." Step 1d — Cutlery compartment cavity "Cut a narrow rectangular pocket for cutlery, 25mm long x 130mm wide x 100mm deep, positioned in the middle section, between the tiffin and bottle compartments." Step 1e — Bottle compartment cavity "Cut a cylindrical pocket for the bottle, 80mm diameter x 120mm deep, centered in the right section of the box." All five of these stay in one part file — they're permanent cuts into a single solid body, no motion between them, so no components or joints needed here. Part 2 — Screw knob assembly (separate component, near bottle compartment) Step 2a "Create a cylindrical knob, 20mm diameter x 15mm tall, with a knurled ridged outer surface for grip." Step 2b "Add a threaded shaft, 6mm diameter x 40mm long, extending from the center of the knob's flat face." Position this component on the front face, low and to the right, directly beside the bottle compartment cavity — matching your sketch. Join it to the main box with a revolute joint (rotation) on the shaft axis so turning the knob is the motion you'll animate later. Part 3 — Telescoping rod (separate component, top-left corner) Step 3a — Outer tube "Create a hollow cylindrical tube, 14mm outer diameter, 11mm inner diameter, 80mm long." Step 3b — Inner sliding tube "Create a solid cylindrical rod, 10mm diameter, 120mm long, sized to slide inside the outer tube." Step 3c — L-shaped clip at the top "Create an L-shaped bracket, 30mm x 30mm, 8mm thick, attached perpendicular to the top end of the inner rod, forming a hook shape for stacking a second tiffin." Position the outer tube fixed at the top-left corner of the box (matching your sketch), and join the inner rod to it with a slider joint so it can extend and retract — you can add joint limits (0mm to 120mm) so it doesn't slide out completely. Assembly order Build Part 1 (box) first — it's your foundation, everything else attaches to it Add Part 2 (screw knob) as a new component, position it, then joint it Add Part 3 (rod), position it, then joint it Test both joints by dragging in Fusion before you commit to final dimensions — this is where you'll catch if the rod interferes with the tiffin lid opening, or if the screw knob is too close to the box edge to turn comfortably
