The prompt
Create an accurate 3D CAD topographic relief model of Symi Island (Σύμη), Greece, in the Dodecanese. Before creating the geometry, research the real geographic shape, coastline and elevation/topography of Symi using reliable geographic data. I do NOT want an imaginary or approximate island. I want the actual recognizable shape of Symi Island. Create: - The real outline and coastline of Symi Island. - The real terrain elevation, including hills, mountains and valleys. - A simplified but geographically accurate topographic relief. - Vertical terrain exaggeration of approximately 2× so the elevation is clearly visible. - A completely flat bottom/base at sea level. - A solid printable base underneath the island. - No buildings, roads, trees or decorative objects. - No floating geometry. - No extremely thin features. Target final dimensions: - Length: approximately 200 mm - Width: approximately 150 mm - Maximum total height: approximately 25 mm The model must be a clean, watertight/manifold solid suitable for FDM 3D printing. Design it so it can be exported as STEP and/or STL and printed on a Bambu Lab A1. Prioritize geographical accuracy of the island's outline and terrain over small decorative details. If exact geographic elevation data cannot be directly imported, explain what data is missing instead of inventing the terrain.
Parameters
| Name | Value | Range |
|---|---|---|
| Length (mm) | 200 mm | 150 – 250 |
| Width (mm) | 150 mm | 100 – 200 |
| Max Height (mm) | 25 mm | 15 – 40 |
| Base Thickness (mm) | 5 mm | 2 – 10 |
| Terrain Exaggeration | 2 x | 1 – 3 |
Every value above is a live dimension. Open a model like this in the editor and each one becomes a slider you can drag before exporting.
