Design only the front enclosure for a Microsoft Surface 3 (Model 1645) tablet. Create a rugged, parametric, 3D-printable front enclosure for a Microsoft Surface 3 tablet measuring 267 mm wide × 187 mm high × 8.7 mm thick. Provide 1.5 mm clearance around the tablet body and use 3 mm wall thickness with rounded exterior corners and generous structural fillets. Create a recessed front bezel that exposes the complete active touchscreen while securely retaining the tablet around its perimeter. Do not place pressure on the display glass. Create a centered pill-shaped opening in the top bezel measuring 25 mm wide × 10 mm high, centered at X = 133.5 mm from the left edge of the glass and Y = 9.5 mm from the top edge, exposing the front camera and status LED. Completely cover the capacitive Windows button on the right bezel to prevent user access while maintaining structural integrity. Create a right-side access opening measuring 75 mm × 10 mm to expose the Mini DisplayPort, USB 3.0, and Micro-USB charging ports. Add a separate 10 mm diameter opening for the headphone jack. Include internal locating ribs, support pads, and retaining tabs to securely position the tablet without obstructing the display, camera, speakers, ventilation, or ports. Create four reinforced bosses for M4 heat-set threaded inserts to secure a removable rear cover. Leave the rear face flat and reinforced for future attachment of a battery module, side handles, and a Kinect v2 mounting system. Generate only the Surface 3 front enclosure as clean parametric solid geometry suitable for STEP and STL export.
