Modify only the right-side wall of the existing Microsoft Surface 3 tablet cassette. Create one continuous rectangular connector service opening through the right enclosure wall. Opening location: - Begin 90 mm below the top edge of the tablet. - End 145 mm below the top edge of the tablet. - Total opening length along the tablet edge: 55 mm. This opening must expose: - Mini DisplayPort beginning at 96.5 mm from the top - Full-size USB-A port beginning at 114.0 mm from the top - Micro-USB charging port beginning at 129.5 mm from the top Cut completely through the enclosure side wall and expose the full 8.7 mm thickness of the tablet edge, with 1 mm additional clearance toward the front and rear. Provide at least 12 mm of unobstructed downward cable relief below the Micro-USB position for a right-angle plug measuring 11 mm wide × 7.5 mm thick, with its cable exiting downward. Add editable parameters: - Service Channel Start: 90 mm - Service Channel End: 145 mm - Service Channel Length: 55 mm - Cable Relief: 12 mm Preserve the existing: - 267 mm × 187 mm × 8.7 mm tablet dimensions - 231.2 mm × 155.1 mm display opening - 3 mm display-opening corner radius - Tablet tray and 1.5 mm clearance - Internal shoulder - Wall thickness and tray depth - Current exterior dimensions - Existing mounting features Do not add separate connector holes, a camera opening, buttons, a back cover, handles, a Kinect mount, or an electronics compartment.
