Create a high-precision stepped shaft for a 10-stage BB3 multistage centrifugal pump. Use inches and model it as one solid, symmetric about its rotational axis. Overall length: 96.000 in. Main shaft diameter: 4.000 in. Include ten equally spaced impeller mounting seats, each 4.250 in diameter × 3.500 in long, separated by 1.000-in-wide spacer locations. Add a 5.000-in-diameter balance-drum seat near the discharge end, two 4.500-in-diameter bearing journals, a 4.000-in-diameter mechanical-seal sleeve seat at each end, and a 3.500-in-diameter keyed coupling extension. Add 0.750-in-wide × 0.375-in-deep keyways to the impeller seats and coupling extension. Include threaded retaining-nut sections at both ends, 3.500-8 UN. Use 0.125-in shoulder fillets and 0.060 × 45° edge chamfers. Keep all cylindrical features concentric; bearing journals and seal seats require a 32 µin surface finish and 0.001-in total runout. No impellers, sleeves, bearings, nuts, or other separate components.
