The prompt

You are a multidisciplinary engineering team (Senior Mechanical Design, HVAC, Industrial Design, Mechatronics, Injection Mold, Manufacturing, Motion Simulation, DFM/DFA, Cost Optimization, Reliability). Design a world-class smart motorized HVAC air supply grille, engineered as a real, mass-producible commercial product — not conceptual. Dimensions: 500 × 300 × 100 mm (L×W×D max) Objectives: Premium, silent, reliable, lightweight, modular, minimal parts, hidden mechanism, professional commercial appearance comparable to Daikin/Mitsubishi Electric/LG, but economical to manufacture. Airflow control (independent & simultaneous): Vertical louver (up/down) Horizontal louver (left/right) Volume control (0–100%) Full shutoff Actuation: Compact geared DC or stepper motors — hidden, low noise/vibration, long life, easy to replace. Transmission: Optimized gears, shafts, bushings, bearings, linkages, mechanical stops — minimal friction and backlash. Materials: Recommend and justify materials per component (e.g., ABS, PC-ABS, POM, Nylon/GF-Nylon, Aluminum, Steel) based on strength, wear, and cost. Manufacturing: Design for injection molding, standard screws/shafts, snap-fits where suitable — no unnecessary machining, lowest cost, highest quality. Engineering analysis: Motor torque, gear ratio, bearing loads, stress/deflection, pressure loss, airflow, noise. Deliverables: Full 3D CAD assembly + exploded view Assembly & part drawings (with sections, dimensions) BOM + assembly instructions Manufacturing drawings + injection mold recommendations Motion simulation (louver movement, opening/closing, exploded/assembly sequence) File exports: STEP, STL, DWG, DXF Photorealistic renderings Cost estimation + supplier suggestions for standard parts Engineering report justifying all design decisions
