The prompt
Create a complete 3D CAD model of a shaft–pulley assembly with two bearing supports for a mechanical engineering college project. Use millimetres (mm). 1. Shaft * Type: Horizontal cylindrical solid shaft * Total length: 300 mm * Diameter: 25 mm * Keep the shaft straight and centered through the assembly. 2. Pulley * Outer diameter: 120 mm * Width: 40 mm * Central bore diameter: 25.2 mm * Position: At the centre of the shaft * The pulley must be perpendicular to the shaft axis. * Create the pulley as a separate editable solid. 3. Bearings * Quantity: 2 * Type: Pillow-block bearing supports * Bearing inner diameter: 25 mm * Bearing outer diameter: 52 mm * Bearing width: 15 mm * Position: One bearing on each side of the pulley * Both bearings must be aligned with the shaft. 4. Bearing blocks * Quantity: 2 * Base length: 70 mm * Base width: 40 mm * Base thickness: 10 mm * Housing height: 45 mm * Place each bearing block below the shaft to support it. * Include two mounting holes in each base, each with a diameter of 10 mm. 5. Assembly arrangement * The shaft passes through both bearings and the central pulley. * The pulley is located at the middle of the shaft. * Place the bearings symmetrically on both sides of the pulley. * Keep the shaft, pulley, and bearings on the same horizontal axis. * Keep the complete assembly stable and properly aligned. 6. CAD model requirements * Generate a complete 3D solid model, not only a 2D drawing. * Show the assembly in a clear isometric view. * Make the shaft, pulley, bearings, and bearing blocks separate editable solid components. * Use simple geometry suitable for a college CAD project. * Do not add a motor, belt, or extra components. * Do not create a rendered image only. Generate editable CAD geometry. * Allow the model to be exported as STEP or another editable CAD format. Use the dimensions above as approximate educational model dimensions. Do not claim the assembly is manufacturing-ready.
