The prompt

Create a precise, editable 3D CAD model for a Year 10 Design & Technology project called a “Seed-Safe Dispersal Pod”. The product is a small protective pod designed to protect ONE individual native plant seed after dispersal. The design must protect the seed while still allowing water and air to enter and allowing the roots and shoot to grow. IMPORTANT: Do not add extra features or change any dimensions. OVERALL DIMENSIONS: * Height: exactly 40 mm * Width: exactly 35 mm * Depth: exactly 35 mm * Shell wall thickness: exactly 2 mm DESIGN: * Create a compact rounded pod. * The pod must consist of TWO separate pieces that can be opened to place the seed inside. * The two pieces should connect using a simple printable snap-fit connection. * Use rounded geometry suitable for FDM 3D printing. * Design the model for printing in PLA or recycled PLA. WATER AND AIR: * Add multiple circular holes around the outer shell. * Every water/air hole must have a diameter of exactly 4 mm. * Arrange the holes evenly around the pod. * The holes must allow water and air to reach the seed. SEED HOLDER: * Include a small internal seed holder positioned inside the pod. * The holder should keep one individual seed securely in position. * Do not make assumptions about the exact seed species or seed size. Make the internal holder simple and adjustable where possible. GROWTH OPENING: * Include one circular growth opening. * The growth opening must be exactly 12 mm in diameter. * Position it so the plant shoot can grow out of the pod. * The design must also allow roots to grow downward into the surrounding soil. FUNCTION: Water must be able to enter through the 4 mm holes. Air must be able to enter through the 4 mm holes. The seed must remain protected inside the pod. The shoot must be able to emerge through the 12 mm growth opening. The roots must be able to grow out into the surrounding soil. MANUFACTURING REQUIREMENTS: * Make the design suitable for a standard FDM 3D printer. * Avoid unnecessarily thin or fragile parts. * Make sure the two pieces can be printed separately. * Keep all measurements in millimetres. * Create a clean, simple engineering design. * The model must be editable as a CAD model. * Export compatibility should include STEP for editing in Onshape and STL for 3D printing. FINAL OUTPUT: Generate the complete 3D CAD model. Clearly show the two separate pod pieces. Do not change the dimensions. Do not add decorative or unnecessary features. The final result should be a functional engineering prototype, not a decorative product.
