ROVA S00387 - FreeCAD Gantry Concept WHAT THIS FILE CREATES - 2 x 100 mm nominal aluminium longitudinal I-beams - 2 x 100 x 100 mm aluminium square-tube cross beams underneath - 4 simplified adjustable lifter legs - 4 simplified 500 kg beam trolleys - 4 simplified lifting chains - 4 simplified markers labelled "Flexible clamp connection" DEFAULT MAIN DIMENSIONS - Gantry length: 4500 mm - Clear internal width between I-beams: 1800 mm - Top of I-beam: 3000 mm (placeholder - edit as required) HOW TO RUN 1. Install/open FreeCAD. 2. Open Macro > Macros... > Create, or use Macro > Execute macro. 3. Select ROVA_S00387_Gantry.FCMacro. 4. Run it. 5. To change dimensions, open the macro in FreeCAD's macro editor. 6. Edit the values under USER PARAMETERS and run again. IMPORTANT - The clamp is deliberately NOT mechanically detailed. It is only shown as a marker. - I-beam flange/web thickness and square-tube wall are placeholders until the exact purchased profiles are known. - This is a concept/layout model, not a lifting-certified fabrication design. - Structural capacity, stability, clamp capacity, trolley/chain selection, fasteners and certification must be checked by a competent engineer.
