The prompt
Create a rotating elevated laptop stand 1. Core Architectural Layout & Kinematics • Form Factor: A modular, heavy-duty "X-frame" or "Spine-based" articulating laptop riser featuring a multi-axis rotation and pivot assembly. • Rotation Mechanism: The base must feature a 360-degree flat rotating turntable mechanism built into a low-profile stabilizer disc. This allows the user to rotate the entire stand infinitely in either horizontal direction across a desk surface. • Pivot & Elevation Joints: • Equip the main anodized aluminum backbone with dual adjustable friction-disc pivot joints (one at the base connection, one at the holder cradle connection). • The joints must tilt up to 90 degrees forward and backward to dynamically achieve a precise 15° to 20° downward viewing angle for the user's laptop screen. • Locking & Stability System: Every articulating pivot axis must integrate a heavy-duty, rigid lockable joint system controlled by mechanical tension clamps. The internal friction discs must be rated to compress tightly, completely freezing the posture into position under heavy loads with a target structural deflection of less than 10 mm. 2. Load Capacity & Geometry Boundaries • Dynamic Load Rating: The structural frame must withstand a heavy dynamic load of up to 10 kg (22 lbs) without slipping, tilting, or buckling. • Thermal Clearance & Ventilation: • The top holding cradle must feature an open-back design or a wide center cutout, creating an intentional hollow gap in the middle of the frame. • The stand geometry must maintain a strict, non-negotiable 25 mm minimum clearance gap between the lower edge of the mounted device and the surface of the desk to induce a high-efficiency passive, chimney-effect convective cooling flow. 3. Material Callouts & Textures (Layered Composite) • Structural Backbone: Design the main supporting vertical spine, joint housings, and desk clamps using precision-machined, anodized aluminum alloy. The surface finish should be matte-blasted metallic gray or deep silver. • Device Cradle & Contact Pads: Mold the actual laptop bed out of structural, thermoformed R-PET (recycled polyethylene terephthalate) felt. The felt texture should look softly fibrous, porous, and highly tactile to provide an elegant, premium look. • Grip, Dampening, & Accents: Integrate high-traction molded TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) interfaces on all terminal contact edges. These act as high-friction non-slip lips to safely secure the laptop base, prevent raw metal-on-device scratching, and provide localized shock absorption.
