PVC Speaker Taper Adapter Assembly

Part 1 — End plate: Circular plate, 140 mm outer diameter, 8 mm thick, rigid PVC. Centered through-hole, 100 mm diameter, for acoustic pass-through. 4 mounting holes, 4.5 mm diameter, on a 115 mm bolt circle, evenly spaced, for bolting a 5-inch speaker driver to the front face. Part 2 — Gasket groove: On the front face of the end plate, a circular groove 3 mm wide and 2 mm deep, centered on the bolt circle, positioned to sit directly under the driver's mounting flange, for a compressible silicone gasket seal. Part 3 — Taper adapter: Hollow conical taper (loft or revolve), smoothly transitioning from 100 mm inner diameter at the end-plate face to 50 mm inner diameter over an axial length of 60 mm. Wall thickness 3 mm throughout, PVC. Add a 4 mm fillet on the interior surface at the narrow end, where the taper meets the socket, to minimize flow separation. Part 4 — Pipe socket: At the narrow end of the taper, a cylindrical socket, 56.3 mm inner diameter, 30 mm deep, sized to receive a 50 mm ID / 56 mm OD PVC pipe with a slip fit for solvent welding. Assembly: All four parts share a common centerline. End plate mates to the taper's wide end; taper's narrow end mates to the pipe socket. No sharp area steps anywhere along the internal bore — every transition should be a smooth taper or filleted junction.
