The prompt
Design a rib/wing holder structure attached to a cylindrical band, for 3D printing (PLA prototype, PETG production). BASE: Hollow cylindrical band, 91mm inner diameter, 2.5-3mm wall thickness, 100mm height. RIBS: A single vertical spine runs along the outer surface of the cylinder on one side. From this spine, curved rib blades branch outward in an alternating pattern (left, right, left, right...), each rib: - Solid, smooth, tapering blade — wide at the root (8-12mm), narrowing to a curved point at the tip - Gentle S-curve/claw-like sweep, NOT a straight spike or sharp thorn - Slightly wraps around the cylinder's curvature as it extends outward (not flat in one plane) - Thickness: 2.5-3mm - Varies in length by ~20-30% between ribs for an organic, non-uniform look COVERAGE: Ribs occupy 150-180 degrees of the circumference around the spine. The opposite ~180 degrees of the cylinder must remain a completely plain, smooth wall — no ribs, no mesh, no cutouts. RULES: - Ribs must NOT cross, weave, or intersect each other (no basket-weave, no net/mesh pattern) - Ribs are NOT arranged radially around the top rim (no crown shape) - Ribs and spine must be fused into ONE combined solid body with the cylinder (not separate floating parts) - Do not generate a tumbler, cup, lid, or handle — only the holder structure itself No locking/retention/mounting features yet — pure shape pass only. Output: STEP file (SolidWorks) and STL file (3D printing).
