The prompt
Design a modular 3D-printable prototype enclosure for a desktop holographic assistant. Create a rectangular hollow base enclosure measuring 220 mm wide, 180 mm deep, and 45 mm high, with 3 mm wall thickness and 10 mm rounded outside corners. The base should have a flat top surface. In the centre of the top surface, create a rectangular removable mist-nozzle opening measuring 80 mm long by 20 mm wide. This opening will later accept interchangeable nozzle cartridges, so create a 3 mm deep recessed lip around the opening to support a removable insert. At the rear-left corner of the base, create a mounting location for a separate vertical hollow post. The post should have an outer cross-section of 35 mm x 35 mm and rise 240 mm above the top of the base. Give the post 3 mm wall thickness and keep the inside hollow so electrical cables can pass through it. At the top of the vertical post, attach a horizontal hollow arm extending 160 mm toward the centre of the base. The horizontal arm should have an outer cross-section of 35 mm x 35 mm and 3 mm wall thickness. The arm will eventually contain a projector or optical mirror system. Create the vertical post, horizontal projector arm, and base as separate printable components rather than one solid part. Use simple mechanical joining interfaces between components. Add two M4 screw holes at each post-to-base and arm-to-post connection so the pieces can be assembled and removed during testing. At the end of the horizontal arm, create a removable rectangular projector housing measuring approximately 60 mm wide, 55 mm deep, and 40 mm high. Keep the projector housing hollow with 3 mm walls. Add an opening on the underside measuring 35 mm x 25 mm for a future projector lens or optical system. Add elongated adjustment slots to the projector housing connection so the projector head angle can later be adjusted during optical testing. On the right side wall of the base, near the rear, add a rectangular USB-C access opening measuring 12 mm wide by 7 mm high. Do not design the water reservoir, electronics, fans, atomiser, or internal airflow system yet. Leave the interior of the base mostly empty. The goal of this model is a modular engineering test platform, not a finished consumer product. Prioritise simple geometry, easy 3D printing, removable parts, and the ability to change the mist nozzle and projector position later.
