The prompt
Design a 3D-printable modular robot chassis for a line-following robot, consisting of a main rear-axle body, an extended central spine, a rear caster wheel mount, and a front sensor bracket, matching the following specifications: 1. Rear Axle & Motor Housing Section: - A horizontal central cylindrical or rectangular housing block designed to hold dual micro gear motors (N20 style) on the left and right sides. - Overall width across outer motor slots: approximately 120 mm. - A flat mounting deck integrated on top of the rear housing to secure a microcontroller board (such as an Arduino Nano / custom MCU layout) with screw mounting holes spaced at standard 23mm x 45mm dimensions. 2. Rear Caster Wheel Mount: - Integrated centrally at the rear bottom edge of the motor housing (extending backward slightly beneath the axle). - Features a flat horizontal mounting flange with two pre-modeled 3mm screw holes spaced 12mm apart to attach a standard mini ball caster or omni-directional wheel. 3. Central Spine Extension: - A rigid, flat structural arm extending forward from the center of the rear motor housing (length: approximately 80 mm, width: approximately 25 mm). - Designed with an internal structural lattice/truss pattern (intersecting diagonal ribs/X-braces) with a solid outer border and a thickness of 4 mm for optimized strength and reduced filament usage. 4. Front Sensor & Indicator Bracket: - At the front end of the spine, a T-shaped or curved horizontal sensor mounting bar (width: approximately 70 mm) designed to hold line-tracking sensor arrays and forward-facing status LEDs. - Includes pre-modeled vertical alignment pins or mounting holes spaced for standard infrared line-follower sensor modules (e.g., TCRT5000 arrays). 5. 3D Printing & Engineering Constraints: - Designed as a single solid manifold mesh with a flat bottom surface for clean bed adhesion without requiring complex support structures. - Wall thicknesses: Minimum 3 mm for structural rigidity. - Tolerances: Include integrated internal wire routing channels running from the front sensor board back to the main microcontroller deck.
