The prompt

Create a 3D CAD model of a conceptual hydraulic metal chip compactor attachment for an existing 3-ton hydraulic workshop press. The purpose is to reduce the volume of metal machining chips to improve storage and handling. The project is for an academic engineering assignment and will be modeled digitally only. MODEL COMPONENTS: 1. A rectangular bottom support plate. 2. A rectangular steel compaction chamber with continuous walls and an open top. 3. A flat rectangular compression plate that fits inside the chamber with a small, uniform clearance. 4. A central vertical hydraulic ram positioned directly above the compression plate. 5. Four symmetrical vertical guide rods that keep the compression plate aligned. 6. Simple conceptual adjustable stroke stops to limit the maximum downward movement. 7. A removable chamber concept for unloading the compacted chips after the press is fully retracted and the load is released. 8. A simple upper support structure representing the mounting arrangement for the existing hydraulic press. IMPORTANT GEOMETRY REQUIREMENTS: - Do not create a front opening, door, window, or decorative cutout in the compaction chamber. - Keep the chamber, compression plate, hydraulic ram, and guides properly aligned. - Minimize unnecessary empty spaces between the compression plate and the chamber. - Ensure that the compression plate is visibly connected to the hydraulic ram. - Keep all parts geometrically connected and avoid floating or disconnected components. - Use simple rectangular and cylindrical geometry suitable for editing in a CAD application. - Separate the major components where possible. - Do not add unnecessary decorative details. DESIGN INTENT: The compression plate moves vertically into the chamber to reduce the volume occupied by the chips. The stroke stops are conceptual and must not be considered structurally validated. The chamber unloading method remains subject to technical review. DIMENSIONS: Use clearly defined, editable preliminary dimensions appropriate for a compact workshop press attachment. Do not claim that the dimensions are safe for a real 3-ton load. If structural dimensions cannot be determined reliably, keep them parameterized for later engineering review. OUTPUT: Generate an editable 3D CAD model, not just a rendered image. Prefer separate editable components for the base, chamber, compression plate, guide rods, hydraulic ram representation, and upper support. The model is for academic visualization only. Do not represent it as approved for manufacturing or real operation.
