The prompt
# Arduino F1 Racing Car – Mechanical Design Design a complete DIY Formula 1 racing car chassis using cardboard as the main construction material. ## 1. Overall Design - Make the chassis look like a real Formula 1 car when viewed from above. - Long, narrow, aerodynamic F1-shaped base. - Lightweight but strong cardboard construction. - Four-wheel design. - Keep the structure simple enough for a student to build by hand. ## 2. Motor Arrangement - Use exactly TWO DC geared motors. - Mount both motors at the REAR of the car. - One motor drives the left rear wheel. - One motor drives the right rear wheel. - Provide strong motor mounting brackets. - Keep both rear wheels aligned. ## 3. Front Steering - Use one SG90 servo motor. - Mount it near the front axle. - Create a mechanical steering linkage connecting the servo to both front wheels. - Allow the front wheels to turn left and right. ## 4. Electronics Mounting Positions Provide separate mounting spaces for: - Arduino Uno. - L298N motor driver. - Rechargeable battery. - Switch. - Connecting wires. Keep the electronics near the centre of the chassis. ## 5. Mechanical Structure Include: - Main flat cardboard base plate. - Front axle support. - Rear axle and motor supports. - Servo mounting platform. - Electronics mounting holes. - Side reinforcement strips. ## 6. Required Design Outputs Generate the following: 1. Top-view mechanical layout. 2. 3D model of the chassis. 3. Front-view and side-view drawings. 4. Exploded assembly diagram. 5. Exact measurements in millimetres. 6. Component positions with labels. 7. 1:1 printable cardboard cutting template. 8. Step-by-step assembly instructions. ## IMPORTANT DESIGN RESTRICTIONS - First generate ONLY THE BASE LAYER. - Do not generate the upper body cover. - Do not generate decorative F1 wings. - Do not generate a cockpit or driver. - Do not add unnecessary components. - Show only the flat chassis base, mechanical supports and component mounting positions. - Keep the design practical for cutting and assembling from cardboard. - Make all dimensions realistic and buildable. Use a clean engineering drawing style with a white background and a top-down view.
