The prompt
Create a new mechanical CAD design named ELEPHANT TOOLHEAD V1 for a 500x500 CoreXY 3D printer. IMPORTANT: Start with the mechanical carriage and belt mounting system only. Do not design the outer enclosure yet. MAIN MECHANICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. LINEAR RAIL MOUNT: - Use an MGN12 linear rail with an MGN12H carriage. - Create a custom CNC-machined aluminum mounting plate. - Use the Voron CNC V2 mounting concept as a mechanical reference. - Preserve a suitable nozzle Z-offset reference and rigid toolhead positioning. - Do not copy incompatible belt mounting geometry. 2. COREXY BELT MOUNTING: - The printer uses two 9 mm wide CoreXY timing belts. - Design a completely new belt attachment system inspired by the compact side-mounted belt attachment concept of the Bambu H2S toolhead. - Create independent left and right belt locking adapters. - Belt adapters must be integrated into the CNC structural mounting assembly. - Use tooth-matching clamping geometry. - Prevent belt tooth damage and excessive compression. - Provide secure bolted attachment and practical belt installation. - Maintain proper belt alignment and clearance throughout toolhead movement. - Do not assume belt pitch, thickness, tooth profile or mounting dimensions. 3. FUTURE COMPONENT COMPATIBILITY: Reserve space for: - Orbiter 2.0 extruder. - Phaetus Rapido UHF hotend. - Two side-mounted 4010 radial blower fans for part cooling. - One separate cooling fan and air duct for the hotend heatsink. - BTT EBB36 CAN toolhead PCB. 4. DESIGN REQUIREMENTS: - Compact industrial mechanical architecture. - CNC aluminum structural components. - Separate removable 3D-printed components. - Rigid and symmetrical construction. - Easy maintenance. - No interference between belts, fans, extruder and hotend. 5. CAD OUTPUT: - Create editable solid CAD geometry. - Separate each mechanical component. - Use millimeters. - Keep the nozzle tip as the main Z-axis reference. - Provide front, side, top and isometric views. - Provide an exploded assembly view. IMPORTANT: Do not invent missing dimensions. First identify all required measurements and ask me for the missing dimensions before creating the final mechanical geometry. The initial output should be a conceptual mechanical assembly, not a production-ready design.
