The prompt
Modify ONLY the interface between the existing divider wall and the existing connector. Do NOT change the overall size or appearance of either part. The goal is to create a precise sliding and locking interface. DIVIDER WALL Keep the current dimensions. Modify only the connection area. Requirements: • Side rails that slide into matching guide channels. • 0.25 mm clearance per side for smooth sliding. • 45° lead-in chamfers at the rail ends. • Positive locking groove near the bottom. • Positive stop so insertion depth is repeatable. • Rounded edges and 1 mm fillets. • Maintain injection molding draft. CONNECTOR Modify only the wall slots. Requirements: • Four identical guide channels matching the divider wall rails. • Matching rail profile. • Lead-in chamfers. • Internal alignment stops. • Internal clamping surface for the thumb screw. • Anti-rattle contact surfaces. • Reinforced screw boss. • Internal ribs connecting the screw boss to each guide channel. • Maintain uniform wall thickness. • 2° draft. • Internal fillets. ASSEMBLY The divider wall must: • Slide smoothly into the connector. • Self-align during insertion. • Stop automatically at the correct depth. • Lock securely when the thumb screw is tightened. • Have minimal wobble after tightening. • Be removable without damage. Optimize for repeated assembly and injection molding. Do not redesign the product. Only engineer the interface between the divider wall and the connector.
