The prompt
Create a **compact, parametric 3-axis Cartesian belt-driven gantry machine** for CNC/plotter/engraving use. **CRITICAL:** The complete assembled machine must fit within **300 × 300 × 50 mm (X × Y × Z)**, including motors, brackets, belts, tool holder, feet and control panel. Nothing may exceed this envelope. Use this architecture: **Square base frame → dual Y-axis drives → transverse X gantry → central X carriage → compact Z/tool holder** * **Base:** 300 × 300 mm square frame using 15×15 or 20×20 mm T-slot aluminum extrusion. * **Bed:** separate ~250 × 250 mm dark working plate. * **Y-axis:** two parallel side rails with V-wheels/bearings, GT2 belts, drive/idler pulleys, tensioners and synchronized gantry plates. * **X-axis:** transverse extrusion gantry with linear rollers, GT2 belt, pulleys, tensioner and compact motor; central carriage moves left/right. * **Z-axis:** ultra-low-profile 10–15 mm travel mechanism with miniature guides and centered tool holder. * Use **horizontal/side-mounted compact stepper motors** where necessary to maintain the 50 mm height. * Model belts as real continuous loops with correct routing and alignment. * Use realistic bearings, spacers, fasteners, belt clamps and mounting plates. **Materials/appearance:** dark gray/black extrusions and bed, gold/bronze 3–5 mm structural plates, black motors and belts, metallic fasteners. Make the assembly **fully parametric and mechanically constrained**: Y moves the gantry, X moves the carriage, Z moves the tool. Check full X/Y/Z travel, interference, and ensure the **300 × 300 × 50 mm envelope is never exceeded**. Create separate components rather than one solid and prioritize **mechanical functionality, realistic assembly, manufacturability and compactness**.
