The prompt

Create a 3D CAD model of a standard axial exhaust fan rotor for an engineering thesis titled “Effects of Riblet Geometry on the Particle Deposition in Axial Fan Blades.” The model will serve as the baseline geometry for comparison with a riblet-modified fan blade in ANSYS Fluent. 1. Overall dimensions Fan outer diameter: 100 mm Number of blades: 5 Hub diameter: 30 mm Hub height: 15 mm Blade radial span: 35 mm, extending from the hub radius of 15 mm to the outer radius of 50 mm Central shaft bore diameter: 8 mm Maximum blade thickness: approximately 2 mm 2. Blade geometry Create five evenly spaced blades around the central hub, with 72° angular spacing. Use smooth, continuous blade surfaces without grooves, riblets, serrations, or surface textures. Make the blades slightly cambered and tapered, with a chord length of approximately 28 mm near the root and 20 mm near the tip. Include a gradual blade twist, with an approximate blade setting angle of 40° near the root and 25° near the tip. Measure these angles relative to the local plane of rotation. Ensure each blade connects smoothly to the hub and remains within the 100 mm overall diameter. Avoid unnecessary decorative features, fasteners, logos, and small details that would complicate CFD meshing. 3. CAD and CFD requirements Create the rotor as a clean, watertight, manifold solid. Use consistent millimeter units. Keep the blades and hub connected as one solid body, if possible. Ensure there are no gaps, self-intersections, duplicate surfaces, or non-manifold edges. Make the geometry suitable for fluid-domain creation and meshing in ANSYS Fluent. Do not include the motor, external fan casing, mounting frame, or surrounding fluid domain. 4. Deliverables Provide the editable native CAD model, if supported. Export the model as STEP (.step or .stp), preferably, and STL as an alternative. Provide a dimensioned drawing or a list of the final dimensions. Confirm the overall diameter, hub dimensions, blade count, blade spacing, and shaft bore. Important: This is the smooth baseline model. Do not add riblets or any other surface modifications. The geometry must be suitable for comparison with a second model that has the same overall dimensions and blade shape but includes riblets.
