The prompt

Create a functional automotive curtain rail designed for FDM 3D printing. The rail should be similar in shape and function to an automotive curtain/sunshade rail that mounts into the vehicle's rubber weatherstrip. Main rail: - Length: 240 mm - Width: approximately 18 mm - Overall height: approximately 22 mm - Rounded upper body - Smooth, slightly rounded edges - Wall thickness: 2.0–2.5 mm Vehicle weatherstrip mounting section: - The bottom mounting tongue must be noticeably thinner than the main body. - Mounting tongue thickness: 3.0 mm - Mounting tongue insertion depth: 10 mm - Make the tongue narrow and slightly flexible so it can slide into a car door/window rubber weatherstrip. - Add a small rounded retention lip at the end of the tongue so it stays inside the rubber seal. - Do NOT make the mounting tongue as thick as the main rail. Curtain channel: - Add a continuous 6 mm wide slot/channel along the lower portion of the rail. - The curtain should slide through this channel. - Keep the channel smooth and free of sharp edges. - Add rounded internal edges to reduce friction. Connections: - Both ends of the 240 mm rail should have an interlocking male/female connection so multiple sections can be joined together. - The connection should maintain a continuous curtain channel when sections are joined. - Design all parts specifically for FDM 3D printing without supports where possible. The final model should be a practical, manufacturable mechanical part, not a decorative object.
