Create a detailed parametric 3D CAD model of an aerial firefighting external pod (AFEP) derived from a streamlined F-15 external aircraft fuel tank. Preserve the characteristic elongated aerodynamic fuel-tank envelope with a rounded pointed nose, smooth cylindrical/elliptical central body, and tapered rear section. Model the pod in two configurations: fully closed aerodynamic mode and open discharge mode with the lower gates deployed. Use smooth aerospace-style surfaces, realistic structural seams, mounting brackets, actuator housings, access panels, fasteners, and internal mechanical interfaces. The final model should look like an aircraft-certified external fuel tank that has been structurally converted into a modular aerial firefighting retardant delivery pod.”
