The prompt
A heavy-duty tool automotive mechanical separation tool combining a tie rod fork and an adjustable wrench mechanism. The tool features a 12-inch heavy - duty cylindrical handle that rotates to adjust the jaw width. The main body consists of a fixed spine integrated with a lower fork prong. The upper adjustable jaw travels vertically along a precision female square t-slot track machined into the spine with a 0.15mm clearance tolerance. To control jaw movement, a 90 degree internal gear driver is used: the top of the rotating handle features and integrated bevel worm gear that meshes directly into a vertical al bevel rack gear modeled on the spine-facing side of the sliding jaw. Turning the handle drives linear travel from a minimum jaw opening of 21/32 inches (16.67mm) to a maximum fully opened width of 3 inches (76.2mm). Directly beneath the handles bevel worm gear is a thick, wide integrated thrust bearing collar flange. This collar seats into a match internal recessed shoulder inside the main tool head casing to isolate the gear teeth from vertical forces. The main tool head features a split-case chassis design halved vertically to allow internal assembly of the captive handle gear and collar.
