The prompt
Create a detailed 3-jaw self-centering lathe chuck assembly. Model a circular cylindrical chuck body with a thick base and a raised top face. Add three identical jaws positioned exactly 120° apart around the center. Each jaw should be a stepped rectangular gripping jaw with serrated/teeth-like gripping surfaces facing inward toward the center. Add a circular scroll plate beneath the jaws with three spiral/scroll grooves that engage with the jaws. Add a central cylindrical opening and a rear drive/gear mechanism for rotating the scroll plate. Include three equally spaced jaw guide slots in the chuck body. The three jaws must be constrained to move radially inward and outward together while remaining 120° apart, representing a self-centering chuck. Make the design a clean mechanical CAD assembly with separate components for the chuck body, scroll plate, three jaws, guide slots, and drive gear. Use realistic proportions and cylindrical/rectangular mechanical geometry suitable for a functional 3-jaw lathe chuck.
