The prompt
I want to build a sequential style shifter for my 2003 wrx with a 5 speed manual transmission. I want the shift patern to be R-N-1-2-3-4-5. The idea is based off the oem shifter but modified to no longer have forward/backward with side to side movement and at the end have a singular backward movement goes up gears and forward goes down gears. I'm thinking a cam with a fork to enable this movement. I have measurements for how far the cam would need to move the lower shifter to enable this.
