The prompt
Create a fully functional 3D-printable mechanical track for a small toy car. IMPORTANT: The text will NOT be 3D printed. I will place a normal printed sheet of paper underneath the track, containing the text. The goal is to create a mechanical "reveal" mechanism: * A toy car travels forward along the track. * Underneath the track there is a sheet of paper with a hidden message. * The track surface must cover/hide the paper. * As the car moves forward, the section of track immediately behind the car must mechanically open, slide away, roll away, or retract. * This progressively exposes the paper underneath the track. * The exposed area should follow the car's movement, creating the effect that the car is revealing the hidden text as it travels. * The car itself should mechanically activate the reveal mechanism. * No electronics, motors, batteries, sensors, or magnets. * The mechanism must work purely through the physical movement of the car. * When the car is moved backward, the mechanism should preferably return to its original position and cover the paper again. * Use simple mechanical components such as sliding panels, hinged panels, rollers, cams, levers, gears, or a flexible linked track. * The track should be modular and easy to 3D print. * Design it for FDM printing with approximately 0.2–0.3 mm clearance for moving parts. * Avoid supports where possible. * The paper must be easy to insert and remove from underneath the track. * The paper should remain completely flat. * The reveal should be smooth and continuous rather than exposing the entire message at once. * The car should be able to travel smoothly without getting stuck. Suggested dimensions: * Track: approximately 300 mm long × 80 mm wide. * Car: approximately 50 mm long × 30 mm wide. * Paper area: approximately 250 mm × 70 mm. Create every required component as a separate printable part and provide an exploded assembly view. The final result must be a REAL functional mechanical mechanism suitable for 3D printing, not just a visual model. Prioritize a simple, reliable mechanism that can actually be assembled and operated by hand.
