Conventional dishwashers are often expensive and relatively large for small houses and apartments. This project aims to develop a compact, cost-effective domestic dishwasher that can automatically wash dishes using water circulation, spray arms, filtration, and a controlled washing cycle- Overall machine: 600 mm wide × 550 mm deep × 750 mm high. - Internal washing chamber: 500 mm wide × 450 mm deep × 450 mm high. - Dish rack: 450 mm × 350 mm × 120 mm. - Spray arm: approximately 350 mm long, 25 mm wide, and 20 mm high. - Spray-arm wall thickness: approximately 1.5–2 mm, subject to material and manufacturing requirements. - Rotating hub: approximately 35 mm outside diameter and 30 mm high. - Water supply pipe: approximately 15 mm nominal diameter. - Spray nozzle holes: initially investigate diameters of 1.5–2 mm. - Sump: approximately 200 mm × 150 mm × 80 mm. - Filter: approximately 100 mm × 100 mm × 30 mm. - Drying air duct: approximately 50–75 mm diameter.
