A solid steel cam-shaped pawl cut from 1/4-inch (6.35 mm) plate. Overall dimensions: 60 mm long, 40 mm high. Features a 16 mm pivot hole at the tail, a 30-degree lead-in ramp on the front nose, a square locking notch directly behind the ramp to trap a 10 mm pin, and an extended vertical thumb-release tab (25 mm long) rising off the top edge.
