The prompt
Modify the existing connector only. Do NOT change the overall size or the rounded outside shape. Redesign the internal engineering. Make the connector a lightweight structural hub instead of a solid cylinder. Requirements: • Hollow interior with approximately 3 mm wall thickness. • Central reinforced screw boss connected to the shell using 4 structural ribs. • Four identical divider wall slots with integrated guide rails. • Lead-in chamfers on every slot entrance. • Positive alignment stops inside every slot. • Internal clamping surface for the side-mounted thumb screw. • Anti-rattle features that remove play when tightened. • Rounded internal fillets. • 2° draft on molded surfaces. • Four small rounded support feet on the bottom. • Preserve the compact rounded exterior. Optimize for injection molding, low material usage, high strength, and repeated assembly. Do not redesign the product. Do not increase the connector size. Only improve the engineering inside the connector.
