The prompt
Design a production-ready four-way locking hub for a modular plastic divider system. Do NOT create a solid cube or solid cylinder. The connector must lock four 3 mm thick divider walls together using one side-mounted thumb screw. The outside should be compact, rounded, and similar to a premium consumer product. Requirements: • Four identical wall slots positioned 90° apart • Each slot contains guide rails that match the divider wall rails • Lead-in chamfers at every slot entrance • Positive alignment stops so every divider seats at the same depth • Side-mounted thumb screw (not top mounted) • Reinforced cylindrical screw boss surrounding the screw • Internal floating clamping plate that presses against the divider walls when the thumb screw is tightened • Internal structural ribs connecting the screw boss to each wall slot • Hollow interior to reduce material and weight • Rounded external corners (3–5 mm radius) • Four small bottom support feet with rounded edges • Uniform 3 mm wall thickness where possible • 2° draft on molded surfaces • 1–2 mm internal fillets • No unnecessary undercuts • Optimized for injection molding and repeated assembly/disassembly Generate: • Isometric view • Exploded view • Cross-section showing the internal clamping mechanism • Front, top, and side views The connector should look like a compact mechanical hub, not a block or cylinder, with most of the engineering hidden inside.
