The prompt

Design a parametric 3D CAD model of a 4-step folding staircase display stand (used for displaying dolls/figurines), made of 4 independent folding bench units placed front-to-back in ascending height. Overall assembly: Footprint 1000mm wide x 1200mm deep x 600mm tall. 4 benches, each occupying a 300mm-deep zone, placed directly behind one another, each 150mm taller than the last (150mm, 300mm, 450mm, 600mm from floor to tread top for Bench 1 through Bench 4). Each bench consists of: 1 tread board: 1000mm (W) x 300mm (D) x 18mm (thick), flat rectangular plywood panel 4 legs: 40mm x 20mm cross-section timber battens, one at each corner, inset 50mm from the board's edges and ends Leg length varies per bench: Bench 1 = 130mm, Bench 2 = 280mm, Bench 3 = 430mm, Bench 4 = 580mm (so tread height plus 18mm board thickness equals the target step height) Each leg attaches to the tread underside via a hinge (revolute joint), allowing it to rotate between two states: 'open' (leg perpendicular/vertical, locked at 90 degrees via a fold-down locking strut or hook-and-eye latch) and 'folded' (leg rotated flat, parallel against the tread underside, for compact storage) Benches 3 and 4 (the taller ones) each include 2 stretchers, 300mm x 40mm x 18mm, connecting the front pair of legs and the back pair of legs at approximately one-third of the leg height up from the floor, to prevent side-to-side racking. Benches 1 and 2 do not need stretchers. Modeling requirements: Build one parametric bench template where leg length is the only variable, then generate all 4 benches from it Model both configurations (open and folded) for each bench Show the combined assembly with all 4 benches arranged in the staircase layout described above Hinge pivot holes should have ~0.5mm clearance for smooth rotation Ease/round tread and stretcher edges slightly; chamfer leg bottoms at the floor contact point Material: wood/plywood appearance for treads and stretchers, timber battens for legs, steel hardware for hinges and latches
